In the past few weeks, my boyfriend has been going through a bit of a craze over a certain song of South Korean origin. It features a 38 year old overweight man dancing suggestively in possibly one of the most brilliant, subtle social commentaries ever to grace the music industry. Ok...so that might be a bit of an exaggeration.
But seriously, if you haven't seen Psy's "Gangnam Style" yet, you need to. It's shot WONDERFULLY, cleverly, and is full of little details that I love. It's making waves in South Korea because it satirizes wealthy society in the country, bringing light to how superficial the culture is. Think of this as a parody of LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem":
